The NC Agromedicine Institute is a partnership of East Carolina University, NC State University, and NC Agricultural & Technical University.
The mission of the Institute is to promote the health and safety of farmers, fishers, foresters, their families, and their workers.
The work of the Institute is accomplished through research, education/outreach, and training.

NC AgrAbility will also be participating in this years Southern Farm Show with the Institute. NC AgrAbility will be exhibiting ergonomic gardening toolkits including tips and resources made available via various vendors to assist people in all abilities in gardening and working on the farm with less stress and strain. NC AgrAbility will also be presenting larger equipment for on the farm use including a remote control mobility lift for tractors to assist people with mobility limitations in access to their tractors. We will also be showing an automated gardening scooter for harvesting and cultivating row crops and more!
