Mobile Mammography Van The CMC-NE Mobile Mammography Van will be at the show on Saturday, September 18th. Did you know that 1 in 8 women will fight breast cancer? Mammograms are the best screening tool available to detect breast cancer at its earliest, most treatable stages. The Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the American Cancer Society both recommend that beginning at age 40, women should have annual mammograms. A baseline mammogram between ages 35-39 is also recommended.
The CMC-NE Mobile Mammography Unit is equipped with digital technology. Our goal is to reach women everywhere. Our screenings are read and interpreted by Charlotte Radiology. A report is sent to both the patient and their physician. Most insurance plans cover annual screening mammograms.
