Chef Edward Nowakowski Chef Edward Nowakowski came to the U.S. from France with three years of Culinary School, a Master Chef Diploma and numerous awards for Garde-Manger work under his belt. He has since opened several hotels including the Holiday Inn at The University of Memphis. Though trained in the classical components of French and South-Eastern European cuisine, he adapts his cooking to the local area where he works, and prepares superb ethnic dishes. Chef Miles Chef Miles, President of the American Culinary Federation (Memphis Chapter) and Senior Executive Chef for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, grew up hunting and fishing in Louisiana, where he learned the essentials of Louisiana’s rich culinary tradition at a very early age. Since then, he has graduated from Le Maison Meridian Culinary Academy, opened famed restaurant, Timbeaux’s in northern Mississippi, and appeared on Channel 3’s Mid South Living and the Food Network. Tammy Williams Chef Tammy T. Williams has been an Executive Sous Chef at the Harrah’s Casino & Hotel Tunica for 3 ½ years, currently overseeing daily operations of the Paula Dean Buffet and supporting outlets. She has been an active member of the American Culinary Federation since 1996 and currently serves as the Secretary for the Greater Memphis Chapter. Chef Willie Singleton, JR Chef Willie Singleton, Jr., the esteemed Executive Chef and General Manager of Soul Café in Southeast Memphis, has more than 20 years experience in the Food and Beverage industry and exhibits excellence in culinary management and operations.
