Since 1987, the Southern Women’s Show has been THE lifestyle event for women in Nashville, TN. It is recognized by the Business Journal of Nashville as one of the most attended events at the Nashville Convention Center. The show hosts over 400 companies and great features focusing on fashion, health and fitness, business, travel and leisure, and food and nutrition.
In addition to the outstanding exhibits and features, there are three stages that showcase a wide variety of entertainment throughout the four days. The Main Fashion Stage features runway fashion shows, celebrity appearances and musical entertainment. The Cooking Stage hosts celebrity chefs, nutritionists, local and regional chefs who share and demonstrate favorite recipes. The Spotlight Stage showcases educational workshops and seminars. Our aim is to keep guests entertained and at the show for hours of shopping and having fun! Women come to the show to shop, learn about new products and services, compare…but most of all have fun with their friends, mothers, sisters and daughters. We get comments all the time like “it’s our annual Mother Daughter Day” or “my friends and I always plan our Girls Day Out to come to the show.”
Between 36,000-40,000 attend the Southern Women’s Show in Nashville annually. (See Audience Profile that can be found under Exhibitor Information and Forms / About the Show).
We will be celebrating the 28th anniversary of the show on March 27-30, 2014 at the new Music City Center in Nashville. This state-of-art convention center latest jewel to the Nashville crown and boasts over 350,000 square feet of exhibit space, 32 loading docks for easy move-in and move-out, a parking deck for 1800 cars and an art collection sure to rival any museum.
We work hard to create an advertising and marketing campaign that includes TV, print, radio, electronic and social media to insure that women in greater Nashville area know that the Southern Women’s Show is coming. There is also a dedicated public relations campaign that works closely with local media for coverage both in advance and during the show.
