Dede Fuson Baking is all in the family for Dede Fuson. Growing up in the South, Dede learned at an early age to incorporate Southern charm and hospitality into everything she does, especially baking. Dede began her career as a food consultant working with Chef George Hirsch, known for his network cooking demonstrations and nationally syndicated “Living It Up” series. She has assisted chefs with food preparation and styling, tested and developed recipes and styled food for photography.
Dede currently spends her time as a member of the recipe testing team for the J.M. Smucker Company and as a baking consultant for White Lily, developing and testing recipes. She was recently featured in White Lily’s Baking Tips video. A true Southern native, Dede has lived in the South her entire life and earned her home economics/human ecology degree from the University of Tennessee. Dede lives in Nashville with her husband Greg and two children.
